Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 Charity Night Raises 2,992,000 Baht for Chonburi Cancer Hospital – Exclusive Auction Highlights Including Lydia Ko Olympic Flag

Chonburi, Thailand – February 20, 2026 – The Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 continued its long-standing commitment to giving back to society with the Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 Charity Night, successfully raising a total of 2,992,000 baht for the Chonburi Cancer Hospital. The funds will directly support medical services, cancer treatment, and patient care, with no deductions for expenses, ensuring every baht reaches those in need.

The charity event took place on February 18, 2026, at the Mövenpick Siam Hotel Na Jomtien, Pattaya, Chonburi Province, creating a warm atmosphere filled with generosity from distinguished guests, partners, and supporters. The evening featured a special auction of cherished memorabilia and signed items from the world's top female golfers competing in the tournament, turning swings on the course into real-life hope and support for cancer patients.

Key Auction Highlights:

  • The most expensive item was a one-of-a-kind Olympic flag from Paris 2024 signed by Lydia Ko (New Zealand, world No. 6, 23 LPGA wins, 3 majors, 3 Olympic medals), sold for 1,000,000 baht to Mr. Sakib H. Shirazi, Managing Director of Atlas Group Limited.
  • A premium Honda golf bag signed by all 72 participating golfers in the 2026 event was auctioned for 610,000 baht to Ms. Watcharin Longduriyang from Honda Piya Co., Ltd. Mr. Toshio Kuwahara (right), President and CEO of Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd., personally presented the bag.
  • A signed polo shirt from Atthaya "Jeeno" Thitikul (Thailand, World No. 1 and 2025 LPGA Tour Player of the Year) fetched 500,000 baht, won by Mr. Boonyot Boonkijcharoen from Yotcharoen Honda Kingkaew Co., Ltd.
  • A special frame with signatures from all 8 Thai golfers in the tournament, designed by Benz Blue (blending contemporary art with Thai identity), sold for 170,000 baht to Mr. Kittipol Kiat suranont, executive of Kiat suranont Group Co., Ltd.
  • A limited-edition 2026 poster featuring signed images of Jeeno Thitikul, Angel Yin, Ruoning Yin, Akie Iwai, and Linn Grant (artwork by Taraya Artwork) went for 160,000 baht to Mr. Sorav Jyoti, President of Cigar Trading Co., Ltd.
  • Driver and wedge set (3 pieces total) from Japanese sisters Yuri Yoshida and Rin Yoshida sold for 230,000 baht to Mr. Yuichi Shimizu, President of Thai Honda Co., Ltd.
  • A signed competition outfit from Nasa Hataoka (Japan, 7 LPGA wins) was auctioned for 150,000 baht to Mr. Akira Koimai, Vice President of Asian Honda Motor Co., Ltd.
  • A VIP package including 2 business-class round-trip tickets from Bangkok to London on EVA Air, plus VIP hospitality at the 2026 AIG Women’s Open at Royal Lytham & St. Annes, England, sold for 130,000 baht to Mr. Watcharapol Phannuern, Senior Director of Marketing Strategy at IMG Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The auction across 8 items generated 2,950,000 baht, with an additional 42,000 baht contributed from on-site games and activities, totaling 2,992,000 baht.
