Schaeffler signs MoU with Green Innovation and Maintenance and Tang Bearings to advance the Wind Sector in Thailand
Bangkok, Thailand – Schaeffler, a global leader in motion technology, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Green Innovation & Maintenance Co., Ltd. (GIM), a leading renewable energy service provider, and Tang Bearings Co., Ltd., a trusted industrial partner, to enhance maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for wind turbines in Thailand.
This strategic collaboration aims to advance Thailand’s wind power infrastructure, improve turbine reliability, and strengthen local technical competencies in support of the country’s transition toward sustainable and renewable energy.
Driving Innovation in Wind Turbine Maintenance
Under the MoU, Schaeffler and Tang Bearings will deliver a comprehensive range of high-performance bearing solutions, precision tools, and premium grease to support GIM’s maintenance operations for wind farms.
The collaboration combines Schaeffler’s engineering excellence, Tang Bearing’s extensive distribution network, and GIM’s on-site maintenance expertise—creating an integrated ecosystem that enhances turbine efficiency, extends operational lifespans, and reduces downtime.

The partnership aligns with Schaeffler’s Partner Program, an initiative designed to deepen collaboration with local partners through technical training, knowledge transfer, and co-development of solutions that meet specific end-user needs
