Dr. Naris Chaiyasoot, Chairman of Special Olympics Thailand revealed that a special charity football match to raise funds for Special Olympics Thailand will be held on Saturday, 29th July 2023 between two of Thailand's leading Football teams, Muang Thong United and True Bangkok United.
Dr. Naris further disclosed that this charity event will also feature a Pre-match Mini Concert by Special Olympic Ambassadors Performing Artists, including BNK48 led by Hoop, Pancake,Popper, Kaofang, Eve, and Earth as well as Ohm and Louis from GMMTV. Additional performers include Ben Silly Fools, the TU band and the Katyusha Dance Academy. Pre-match performance will begin at 5pm. A shorter performance will also be held during the half time break of the football match. Tong Kavin, Special Olympics Thailand Sport Ambassdor, will also appear at this event.
Revenues from this charity match will provide support to Thailand's Special Olympics athletes in all parts of the country. Special Olympics Thailand is a non profit organization which empowers people with intellectual disabilities. Through its sports and health programs, Special Olympics aims to improve quality of life and promote social inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities in all communities.
Tickets for the Football Charity match are priced at 100 and 200 baht. Tickets can be purchased at Thaiticketmajor (Tel. 02-262-5436) Tickets are also available at the stadium on the day of the event. Private VIP rooms inclusive of food and drinks may be booked starting at 8,000 baht, with room sizes for 8 persons, 10 persons and 15 persons.
