20 January 2018. The 12 annual Thai Polo Open will take place at the Thai Polo
& Equestrian Club. This prestigious charity event provides excellent
competition and entertainment from some of the world’s best polo players from
Argentina, Australia, England, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, China and
Thailand. Spread over ten days, the Thai Polo Open provides high quality 12- 14 goals polo in a classic atmosphere
specially designed for polo enthusiasts. In addition to the sporting
activities, Finals Day attracts thousands of guests and spectators to enjoy
entertainment for all the family, including buffet lunch, shopping & games
at sponsors’ pavilions, display of cars, pony rides for children, kids polo,
music from the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, evening cocktail party and
spectacular fireworks. The goal of the Thai Polo Open is to raise funds for the
Chitralada Vocational School Project of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Funds
raised will help disadvantaged people from being excluded from the mainstream
of education, both in rural villages and urban communities.
