LINE MAN Launched “Postal Service” Trial version

Bangkok – March 13, 2017 – LINE MAN, an on-demand professional services assistance app to serve the needs in your daily life, at any time, releases its new service “Postal service” beta version (for Android only). Aimed at local merchants and SMEs, Postal Service offers nationwide, door-to-door parcel delivery – fast, affordable, and secure.

After a great success on Food Delivery service as it ranked on the top list of Food Delivery industry in Thailand, LINE MAN is now expanding its services with the debut of “Postal service” beta version (for Android devices only at this time): to pick up your parcels from your door and deliver them to the destination nationwide with reasonable price. Postal service collaborates with “Alpha”, an expert in delivery service nationwide for E-commerce, targets merchants looking to send goods quickly, but who do not want the hassle of making the deliveries themselves. 
Postal Service can pick up goods between 8 AM – 10 PM, and deliver them quickly using one of two options:

  1. Delivery by Alpha: to handles all deliveries, from pick up to destination (only available in Bangkok and surroundings: Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan). The cost is upon size of parcel with next day delivery guaranteed.
  2. Delivery by EMS: to picks up the parcel and delivers it to the post office, then the post office processes the delivery accordingly (available nationwide). The cost is upon weight of parcel with next day (before 11 AM) delivery guaranteed at the post office and within three days guaranteed at destination.
This Postal service offers seamless experience of delivery, requiring a minimum of information to use. There is no need for the senders to type a lot of information. They can just drop a pin on a map on their phones to indicate their address. In addition, the sender can check delivery status (includes EMS tracking No.) in real time, and share that status with the receiver via LINE. In term of security, LINE MAN also offers insurance for delivery goods, up to THB 2,000. 
To celebrate the launch of Postal Service, from today until March 17th, 2017, LINE MAN is offering a special promotion of free delivery a day (up to 10 boxes) on Android only (limited).
