Kenny Rogers’ concert staged in Bangkok to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit 84th Auspicious Birthday

The world’s legendary and music icon, Kenny Rogers, performs a live concert in his final world tour for the Thai fans in Bangkok.  This concert is one of the highlighted activities under the themed celebration, ‘Ngan Silp Khong Mae’ to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 84th Auspicious Birthday.
Presided over by His Excellency Mr. Tanin Kraivixien, Privy Councillor and the Vice-President of SUPPORT Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand; the concert, attended by VIPs, top executives from the country’s leading corporations, celebrities and music fans, was held at the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon, Bangkok.
The world-famous country-pop singer performs his show by singing a number of his greatest hits to bid farewell to the fan at the concert titled, “The Gambler's Last Deal”, together with special guest singer, Linda Davis, an American country music female singer and GRAMMY Award winner.

Kenny Rogers said to his Thai fans that he is honoured to take part in the joyful celebrations to commemorate Her Majesty the Queen’s 84th Auspicious Birthday. The American singer also expressed his gratitude to the Thai fans for a warm welcome and for the great support throughout his music and entertainment career.
Kenny Rogers has enjoyed great success during his storied career of nearly six decades. His all-time favourite songs such as The Gambler, Coward of the Country, Island in the Steam, and Lady, have reached the top on charts around the globe including the Billboard charts.

Throughout his music career, he has been given many awards and honours which include GRAMMY Awards, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, and many more.
The enduring Country Music Hall of Fame member and pop superstar has endeared music lovers around the globe with his amazing songs, heartfelt performances, distinctive voice, gift for storytelling and universal appeal.  
Kenny Rogers’ final world tour concert is brought to the Thai fans by the organizing committee of ‘Ngan Silp Khong Mae’ to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit's 84th Auspicious Birthday.  The themed celebration is organized by Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre together with Fresh Air Festival Co Ltd, Thairath TV, and organizations from public and private sectors.  Leading corporations which are the main sponsors are PTT Public Company Ltd and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, together with Siam Paragon as the alliance.  
At the concert event, activities include an exhibition to honour Her Majesty the Queen and a charity auction to support the activities of Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre. One of the items to go on the auction is a special designed suit jacket with an autograph of Kenny Rogers. The suit jacket is designed by Wisharawish Akarasantisook, talented Thai designer who have won domestic and international awards.
