EWING ENTERTAINMENT invites you to witness the most terrifying and erotic stage show that Thailandhas ever seen, ‘Dracula - Blood is Life’, starring HUGO CHAKRABONGSE, MYRA MOLLOY (the premiere season winner of Thailand's Got Talent,) and JOE DIXON (The Mummy Returns).
The classic tale of DRACULA is known the world over, but this time it iscompletely re-imagined by a world-class creative team direct from London's West End and Broadway,and features an international and Thai cast.
The show features breathtaking physical theatre performers directed by Simeon John-Wake, renowned actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company, mind-boggling illusions created by Magic Circle Magician John Bulleid, spine-tingling sound design by Thai sound designer Tada Mitrevej, Knight of Illumination Award winning lighting designer, Ben Cracknell, all encompassed by the most ingenious stage set by Sean Cavanagh and underpinned by Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee Kevan Frost's bone-chilling music score.
Set in 1897 but thoroughly contemporary, the production features stunningly unique costume design by designer Rachael Forbes, recently commissioned to work on designs for Sarah Brightman's 2015 World Tour.
DRACULA - BLOOD IS LIFE is directed by renowned theatre director Joe Harmston, who has directed some of the greatest actors in theatre, from StanleyTucci, Bill Nighy, Ian McKellen, to name but a few.
Ewing Entertainment Worldwide is launching the Asian Premiere at KBankSiam Pic-Ganesha Theatre, an ultra-modern,world-class venue with 1,046 seats, right in the heart of Bangkok, with a run in Thailand spanning from February 12th to 6th of March. The Gala night on 18th February will feature special guest Dacre Stoker, author and filmmaker, the great grandnephew of Irish author Bram Stoker, as well as a large gathering of Thai celebrities and VIP guests.
Dracula: Blood is Life will premiere in Bangkok, before opening in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and eventually UK and European theatres.
Show opens on the 12th of February, featuring the Royal Shakespeare Company's brightest new star, William Belchambers as DRACULA, for 5 preview performances only. 12th – 14th February 2016.
GRAND OPENING on 18th February – 7.30pm. HUGO Chakrabongse will incarnate DRACULA from the 18th of February until the 6th of March 2016.
