On Tuesday, August 25 2015, FICO Corporation held a press conference to launch the METROPOLIS with “Pre-Opening Hard Hat Event” and preview METROPOLIS; the Most Luxurious Office Building in Bangkok on the 9th floor of METROPOLIS.
Metropolis, a 21 storey-building with a gross area at 26,000 square meters, is strategically situated in the heart of Bangkok’s commercial district. Being situated on a prime stretch of Sukhumvit main road adjacent to Soi 39, conveniently next to Phrom Phong BTS station amidst the EM District, makes this building a prominent location for businesses and retail alike. Moreover, METROPOLIS just received a Highly Commended Office Architecture from Asia Pacific Property Awards 2015.

The METROPOLIS characterized by a unique combination of classic and modern architecture. This featured entirely different from other office building. The lower building architecture is part of retails inspired by a traditional European building. The façade decorates with a copper brown cladding and diamond cut shape; which is a special order only in Thailand, made the reflection light on the building in various dimensions. The building will have different colors at different times of day. The front of Metropolis was created an Arch shape with a Terrace on the top of retail floor for the splendid Sukhumvit road landscape. Moreover, there are 2 cylindrical glass elevators in the front of building for supporting retails.
For the towering office building is designed to look modern and airy inspired by the Iceberg shape. Each floor has a different twist in degrees that the twisted parallel to the Sukhumvit road. It creates different views for the people on the office building. Furthermore, the building’s features include a curtain wall and column-free in order to create a panorama view.
The building features two storeys of retail space, 14 storeys of luxury office space and a rooftop. The elegant white marble decorative wall adds a unique concept to its interior design. The ceiling of the luxurious dome lobby measures up to be 10-meter high with floor to ceiling curtain wall as a large glass wall around the building, allowing natural light to be around every corner and Column-free interiors, allowing flexibility in planning office space. Each floor has a ceiling height 3.30 meters which is the highest among office buildings in Bangkok. The outside landscape is French formal garden with a musical fountain. This was inspired by the gardens of the Palace of Versailles giving the tenants’ sense of sophistication and uniqueness.
