LG Reinforces its Leadership in Premium TV Market by Unveiling the Latest Innovation “LG SUPER UHD TV”

Bangkok, 23 April 2015 – LG Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. introduces its 2015 TV lineup, highlighting LG SUPER UHD TV, that features ColorPrime technology to magnify every range of lifelike colors in 4K resolution. LG SUPER UHD TV is not only outstanding due to its elegant design, but is also equipped with practical features that best respond to consumers’ requirements. The company is also confident to increase its market share to 25% by the end of this year.

LG SUPER UHD TV is based on the concept of “Every Color Comes Alive.” The highlighted model UF950T features ColorPrime technology that leverages a wide range of hues and shades presented on the screen to provide exceptional viewing. Through a full-color spectrum, UF950T delivers greater image depth and realism for its ability to express previously unseen colors such as aqua marine, red ruby and jade. Concurrently, ULTRA Luminance technology continuously analyzes the brightest and darkest parts of the displayed content in order to improve the extended expression range of brightness, with higher peaks and enhanced contrast ratio. With LG’s IPS 4K panel, the TV can render detailed images at extremely wide viewing angles. In addition, LG’s Smart TV user interface named webOS 2.0 also makes it even simple to access any online contents.

Moreover, the LG SUPER UHD TV model UF950T is also equipped with 4K Upscaler - a smart feature that elevates the image resolution to 4K ultra-sharp quality. UF950T comes implemented with HEVC Decoder technology to support external contents perfectly in 4K resolution, and for 3D-movie lovers, UF950T offers 4K 3D ULTRA HD technology to display stable, ultra-sharp, blur-free and true-to-life images like never before.
