“Narai Hospitality Group” Rebrands “Lub d” Hotel Franchise, Launches Newly Renovated Lub d Bangkok Siam

Narai Hospitality Group has announced the rebranding of Lub d, an affiliated lifestyle hotel franchise. Lub d Bangkok Siam has now reopened after renovation. Lub d has also launched a new lifestyle café and bar to promote sales after COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel now focuses on creating new and unforgettable experiences. Narai Hospitality Group is confident to receive positive responses and has set the goal to open more hotels. The franchise is expected to generate a 600-million THB revenue in five years.

On March 25th, 2022 at Lub d Bangkok Siam, Miss Nithida Nithiwasin, director of Narai Hospitality Group’s Lub d franchise and a leading entrepreneur and business developer, attended “Lub d Nice to Meet You… Again” with executive colleagues.  “Lub d Nice to Meet You… Again” was a launch event and press conference for Lub d Bangkok Siam Hotel, which has now reopened after renovation. The hotel also launched a new lifestyle café and bar to the delight of members of the press and honored guests.

Miss Nithida Nithiwasin, Director of Lub d, said “Lub d is not just a hotel. It is also a lifestyle destination for foreign tourists’ travel and accommodation. However, the recent COVID-19 pandemic has prevented tourists from staying with us. This allowed Lub d to rebrand and improve the brand’s identity for the first time in eight years. Our brand has been designed by DesignStudio, a well-known digital branding and creative agency who has worked with world-class brands such as Alipay and Airbnb. The brand design is done with the strategy to “Go Brave” – to go outside the box. This reflects the fun and friendly identity of Lub d, which caters to our target groups. The hotel aims to create new and unforgettable experiences and challenge travelers to try new things.”

As we have entered a new and different era, Miss Nithida stated “In addition to improving the brand’s identity, we have renovated Lub d Bangkok Siam which is located near BTS’ National Stadium Station. With the budget of over 50 million baht, 30 rooms have been renovated to blend locality and modernity. The renovation catered to guests who value their privacy. We also maintained the distinctiveness of a hostel because the Lub d brand was one of successful Thai hostel pioneers and was internationally recognized. Furthermore, Lub d has been named the number one hostel thanks to its outstanding services and guests’ new experiences. The hotel now features more common areas and a fully equipped co-working space to accommodate a workation. The place is also great for meetings and workshops.”

Also launched in the event are Rodken, a lifestyle café that sustains the community, and District, a relaxing bar perfect for gatherings and parties. Under the concept of “Street Meets Neighborhood”, both Rodken and District will serve as Lub d’s associated brands in other Lub d hotels moving forward.

Rodken Cafe

In closing, Miss Nithida explained Lub d’s goal “Lub d currently operates five hotels – Lub d Siam, Lub d Koh Samui on Chaweng Beach, Lub d Pa Tong in Phuket, Lub d Makati in Philippines, and Lub d Siam Reap in Cambodia. We plan to open two more hotels in 2022 – Lub d Chiang Mai and Lub d Chatuchak, and two more in 2023 – Lub d Pha Ngan and Lub d Krabi. The franchise is expected to generate a total revenue of 600 million THB in five years from both Thai and foreign tourists. Before the border opens to international flights, the government of Thailand has encouraged Thai people to travel more through government campaigns such as “เราเที่ยวด้วยกัน” and “ทัวร์เที่ยวไทย”.

District Bar

Lub d Siam is now open every day with Rodken Café, which opens from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm., and District Bar, which opens from 6.00 pm to 11.00 pm. The hotel is located near Exit 1 of BTS’ National Stadium Station. For personal vehicles, please use nearby parking.  Rodken

Rodken is a café inspired by traditional coffee carts in the streets you can visit every morning, but with attention to quality and taste. We focus on sustainability of the brand and community. That is why we only use locally sourced beans from Ban Mai Patthana, Chiang Rai. Their coffee beans are roasted using thermodynamics method to preserve the quality and taste. Our drinks are delicately brewed with “Meka”, Thailand’s universally recognized and renowned brewing machine. The result is a cup of rich and flavorful drink. Our signature drink is Cloudy, a blended drink with milk and frappé coffee instead of ice for a cloudy smooth texture unique to Rodken.

District

District is a bar designed with the concept of “Street Meets Neighborhood”. It is a local bar for modern gatherings which focus on convenience with affordable prices and a homey atmosphere. The fun, warm, and friendly vibe of Lub d is perfectly captured here. Don’t miss our recommended fresh tap beer and wine, with a serving of hot and spicy street food Mala. Enjoy live music to liven up your weekend.
