Mundipharma announces the appointment of Mrs. Warawan Chantarasomboon as general manager for Thailand, taking the place of the current general manager Mr. Hugo Alejandro Saavedra, who is going to assume the position in Brazil. The appointment will take effect on January 1, 2018. This is another important step for a talented woman named Warawan Chantarasomboon, after having working with Mundipharma (Thailand) since February 2016 as an associate director, consumer business unit. She is the person behind the launch of many new products under the brand Betadine, for instance the popular Betadine Natural Defense Body Wash, which is so well-loved among Thai consumers that the company is planning to export it to many other countries.
With over 20 years of management experience in several leading companies such as GlaxoSmithKline (Thailand), Merck Ltd, and Thailand Coca Cola (Thailand) LTD, the recently appointed GM is an expert in the management of health products as well as medicines, cosmetics, and other consumer goods.
Her next challenge is to introduce BETADINE® GARGLE and BETADINE® THROAT SPRAY, two new products in the throat care product line, to the market in order to improve the health of the Thai people.
