Food Innopolis continues to mobilize researchers for the industrial sector Promp for Talent Mobility for Food Innovation 2017; Talent Mobility Fair

“Food Innopolis” raise the Thai food industry with research and development, drive Thailand to become a center for research, development and innovation for the industry. Organize cooperation between entrepreneurs, researchers and support organizations at Talent Mobility for Food Innovation 2017 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on March 24-25.

     Akkharawit Kanjana-Opas,Ph.D., Deputy Secretary-General of the Office of the National Science and Technology Innovation Board (STI), and CEO of Food Innovation, said that the resolution of the cabinet meeting on 22 September 2015 approved for the establishment of the "Food Innopolis" project, which will receive special promotional privileges in the target area, is an urgent policy of building investment and development potential for the country since 16 May 2016, the Ministry of Science and Technology to be assigned for the main unit to driving the establishment. And conduct Food Innopolis with relevant agencies. "To provide Thailand a center for research, development and innovation for the food industry." The key factors to drive this project are researchers and mechanisms that encourage researchers in the public and private sectors, participated working effectively and efficiently.
The Food Innopolis’ strategic framework  will focus on promoting and supporting food companies in maximizing the value of products and services and ability to compete with innovation and technology as well as a complete service center with a Service Platform including Global Network, Facilities & Equipment, Talent Mobility, Academy, FDA and also promotes linking standard infrastructure, analyzing, testing, and food safety using publicly-owned mechanisms linked to food industry operators and related industries with research agencies for food innovation. The system is highly secure, to maintain confidentiality and intellectual property management in accordance with international standards. And promote to worldwide talents to participate in the research and development with any companies in Food Innopolis.   
Asst. Prof. Poonsak Koseeyaporn, Ph.D., Director of Human Resources Development (STEM), STI , added for the STI staff reinforce to work on Talent Mobility have enabled researchers and scholars to unlock their work in the private sector and also use their performance to apply for academic positions according to the agreement of the agency. Which is currently  568 STI staff were transferred to private organizations, with 177 private companies and 21 participating universities nationwide participating in the program.
Food Innopolis will  host for the Talent Mobility for Food Innovation 2017 during 24-25 March 2017 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center under the concept of "Raising the Thai Food Industry with Research and Development" , to raise awareness and realize for the food staff personnel potential by published the researches or any new technology which can be commercially available. And to encourage Research Collaboration between Entrepreneurs and Researchers. The target audience expected at 400 participants which will be from the private sector,  the research funding agencies, universities, government agencies  supporting research both inside and outside the Ministry of Science, Ministry of Science’s scholarship students and the media.
The activities in Talent Mobility for Food Innovation 2017 including with the discourse, lecture, talk, workshop and train, exhibition and over 15 matching zones for the party concerned , service for the research fund. Moreover will have the signing ceremony for the MOU between TRF and STI which will be have more fund for the Talent Mobility.
