May 9, 2016 – dtac
announces the appointment of Mr.
Sitthichoke Nopchinabutr as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)
effective June 1, 2016, replacing Mr. Sigvart Voss Eriksen, who has
completed his tenure with dtac and will assume
a new
role with Telenor Group.
Prior to joining dtac,
Sitthichoke served as Vice President, Telecommunications & Digital
at Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. He was responsible for IT and
Mobile Communications and runs
Thai mobile phone business. Sitthichoke was in charge of business
strategy planning, marketing and communication for the mobile phone
business. He also led the digital, application development and social
network teams. His skills and dedication contributed
to the growth of Samsung operation in Thailand as no.1 in terms of
market share, making Thai Samsung ranked among the top contributors in
the Asian market for Samsung.
Sitthichoke
is a marketing strategist who plays a pivotal role in leading his
company to an unprecedented growth in the mobile phone market.
He was a recipient of the Samsung Award of Honor, presented by Samsung
chairman, for his contribution to the rapid growth of Samsung mobile
phone business in all segments in Thailand. Before Samsung Electronics,
Sitthichoke served several roles in several
fast growing and highly competitive business in various industries, for
example, The Minor Food Group and Proctor & Gamble Trading
(Thailand) Ltd.
