Bangkok, January 20, 2016 – The SEC is seeking public comments on draft revisions to the rules concerning definition of investors and investment of mutual funds in line with international standards. This is to allow capable investors access to more diverse investment channels, and to strengthen competitiveness of asset management companies.
The draft revisions involve:
(1) determination of definitions of ultra high net worth investors (UHNW);

A hearing on the principles of the aforesaid revisions took place in November last year.
