Bangkok, December 4, 2015 – The SEC is seeking public comments on a draft revision to the financial statements reporting forms which must be submitted by securities companies and derivatives business operators.
The draft revision aims to accommodate supervision of agricultural futures business operators and comply with the changing financial reporting standards. It also amends certain disclosure requirements in the financial statements reporting forms to reduce burdens and costs of securities companies that are non-public accountable entities (NPAE).
In addition, the revised reporting forms would comply with the electronic filing system (e-filing) of the Department of Business Development, the Ministry of Commerce.
The consultation paper is available at www.sec.or.th. Stakeholders and interested parties are welcome to submit comments through the website, or facsimile at 0-2263-6487 or email: patana@sec.or.th.
The public hearing ends on January 26, 2016.
