Chuo Senko continues expansion in Asia to reap benefits from boundless opportunities following AEC, establishing solid foundation in Thailand while branching out to neighboring countries

Bangkok - June 10, 2015: Chuo Senko (Thailand), one of the longest established advertising agencies in Thailand with continued growth, is going from strength to strength this year, with plans for partnerships and expansion. Mr. Shuji Okawa, Group President and CEO of Chuo Senko (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd.(CST) said that the company has recently gone through a business restructuring to increase liquidity and facilitate with its plans for expansion. Core business has been transferred to newly established subsidiary Chuo Senko Advertising (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CSA) since January 2015.
“Last year, the Group’s total billings collected from clients were 1,566.13 million baht, a 54.29 baht million increase or 3.59% growth from 2013.  Chuo Senko (Thailand) Public Company’s total billings were 1,139.84 million baht in 2014, a 4.74% increase from 2013, in which it generated 1,088.24 million baht,” said Mr. Okawa.
In addition to the structure adjustment, Chuo Senko (Thailand) has also proposed rights issue to all existing shareholders for capital increase from 112.50 million baht to 225 million baht, in order to prepare for growth and expansion. It has plans to develop new business areas, such as customer relations management (CRM), content business, new brand agency as well as expanding of overseas subsidiaries. Recently, it has partnered with Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd (DNP), a Japanese company, to offer CSR, space design management and factory tour planning to develop businesses in Southeast Asia market, and develop new services by utilizing knowledge and strengths of both companies.
Mr. Ratchasub Nishida, President & CEO of Chuo Senko Advertising (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said that the Thai market has a strong potential especially the content business, space design management and Information and Communications (IC) services.
“Content business is a growing platform, and our strategy is to implement it as a marketing tool for our clients. The world is moving forward, which also means more competition in the advertising industry, as every player has to attract eyeballs. The first Quarter of this year Chuo Senko Group has total billing at THB355,344,982.46  separated to Chuo Senko (Thailand) at THB135,062,090.60 and Chuo Senko Advertising at THB94,139,053.73.
