dtac Super 4G Presents Superior Travel Experiences on uberX & UberBLACK

Free Rides to and from Airport for dtac BLUE MEMBER Customers
Bangkok, May 11, 2016 - Uber Thailand, in collaboration with leading digital-service provider dtac, today launches the “Uber - dtac Super 4G Free Wi-Fi” campaign. For the first time ever in Thailand, this campaign brings dtac’s Super 4G service to hundreds of uberX and UberBLACK cars free of charge throughout the ride, starting from May 10, 2016. dtac’s Super 4G delivers 4G service on 1800 MHz spectrum at 3 times faster than standard 4G. In addition, dtac BLUE MEMBER customers receive 2 free rides to-and-from airport per year, starting from May 3, 2016.

Across the world, Uber has been active in 400 cities across 69 nations. Its more than 1.2 million drivers have already served more than 10 million passengers the past 12 months; Uber Thailand’s driver-partner base has grown six-fold and continues to serve the growing demand of riders daily.

The “Uber - dtac Super 4G Free Wi-Fi” campaign is part of a strategic partnership between Uber and dtac. As part of this campaign, Bangkok commuters can travel through Bangkok more productively & enjoyable. In select uberX and UberBLACK cars, riders can use the Super 4G service which gives more convenient access to online entertainment. Mobile Internet enables Uber riders to listen to mu­sic, watch series, and check out music videos fast and free throughout their Uber rides. They can also stay connected with a more reliable signal and continue working uninterrupted.

1. All Uber riders can use and experience dtac’s Super 4G at 3 times the speed of standard 4G for free throughout their rides via pocket Wi-Fi in hundreds of 200 uberX and UberBlack cars.

2. dtac BLUE MEMBER customers enjoy the special privilege of 2 free uberX rides to and from the airport per year, or alternatively receive 500-Baht discount for UberBLACK rides. The offer is valid from May 3 – December 31, 2016.

3. All new Uber drivers who sign up to drive from May 11, 2016 – April 30, 2017, will receive either free Super Non-Stop package valued at 499 Baht for 6 months or a 500 Baht-discount off any package for 6 months. Current Uber drivers using dtac will receive 24 GB free Internet.
