Bangkok (24 March 2016) – SHOW DC, led by SHOW DC Corp Chairman Khun Chayadit Hutanuwatra, recently announced that it has formed a joint venture partnership with Fresh Air Festival CEO Khun Vinij Lertratanachai and visionary businessman Khun Tassapon Bijleveld, to establish ‘Ultra Tiger Co., Ltd’. The new venture has invested Bht 300 million to create the ‘Ong Bak Live Show’ – that will feature selected fight sequences from the hit film “Ong Bak”.
Aimed to attract local and international audiences and martial arts enthusiasts, the reality show is a collaboration between entertainment giants: Fresh Air Festival Co., Ltd.; Shamongkolfilm International Co., Ltd. which holds the copyright to the movie “Ong Bak”; Scenario Co., Ltd.; and Doctor Head Co., Ltd. Talented and widely-acclaimed director ‘Prachaya Pinkaew’ will lead the production crew. Scheduled to open on September 2016, ‘Ong Bak Live Show’ will have three shows daily on the 6th floor of SHOW DC’s 1,200-capacity, 5,000 sqm Sports Arena, Thailand’s first retail and entertainment mega-complex located in the Chaturathit-Rama IX prime area. Tickets to the 75 minute show will cost Bht 1,500.

Present at the press conference to share details of the new joint venture Ultra Tiger Co., Ltd. were partners Khun Chayaditt Hutanuwatra, Chairman of SHOW DC Corp Ltd.; Khun Vinij Lertratanachai, Chief Executive Officer of Fresh Air Festival Co. Ltd.; together with Khun Chomsajee Techaratanaprasert, Vice President of Sales, of Sahamongkolfilm International Co., Ltd.; Khun Chayakorn Suthinsak, Production Director, Scenario Co., Ltd.; and Khun Bordin BoonMee, Managing Director of Doctor Head Co., Ltd. The main characters of the show were also announced at the press conference held at Moon Star Studio. One of the key highlights at the event, which created much excitement, was a sample presentation of the Ong Bak Live Show. Attending were members of the press and 350 Thai and International tour agents.

Sports Arena, located on the 6th floor of Show DC is fully equipped with light, sound and stage facilities as well as a spacious venue. Over 1,200 parking spaces have been provided for cars and vans, as well as 100 spaces for tour buses.
Located on Chaturathit Road, SHOW DC is easily accessible by multiple road and rail transport systems close to the Makkasan station of the Airport Rail Link, the MRT’s Phetchaburi and Rama IX stations, as well as the Si Rat Expressway’s Rama IX.
