dtac confirms to service AIS 2G roaming customers for the benefits of the overall telecom industry


March 10, 2016 - Mr. Lars Norling, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer of Total Access Communication PLC or dtac, revealed the agreement on 2G roaming with AIS had reached the conclusion and signed the contract in roaming 2G AIS customers to dtac network which the network testing is done and completed without switching sim. The service will be ready by March 11th, 2016 as AIS will end its service on 900 MHz after the license winner has paid the license fee.
dtac is currently providing 4G, 3G, and 2G services, therefore dtac’s network operates to support most mobile phones in Thailand.
dtac 2G network can handle all of AIS 2G customers through roaming and prepared our network to the maximum capacity nationwide to support customers usage to benefit the overview of telecom industry and the public and continue to conduct our business with corporate governance. 
dtac will treat AIS customers at our best service as if it every customers is our own.
