Jetts emerges as Thailand’s fastest-growing fitness chain with the number of its clubs increasing 4 folds in 9 months

Jetts 24 Hour Fitness, a pioneering 24/7 fitness chain, has become the fastest-growing fitness brand in Thailand with the number of its clubs having increased from 3 to 12 in just 9 months. The boost has been a significant step in realizing the chain’s ambition to create an unrivalled chain of fitness clubs throughout Thailand.
Jetts is planning another 20 clubs in the Greater Bangkok area and densely populated provincial cities across the country in coming years, according to Mike Lamb, Asia CEO of Jetts 24 Hour Fitness. The chain believes a total of 100 clubs in Thailand in the next 5 years is eminently achievable” he added.
“We have embarked on a significant expansion plan in March 2018, with the simultaneous opening of 4 new clubs, followed by 3 clubs in September 2018, taking the total to 10 clubs. A further 2 clubs are set to open in December,” Lamb said.
“A total of 12 clubs are therefore set to be up and running by the end of 2018. In just 9 months, we have launched 9 new clubs in what is a fiercely competitive market. Jetts is now the fastest-growing fitness chain in Thailand,” he added. “We are also the largest 24-hour fitness chain in Thailand with a market share of over 50% in the segment.”
Fierce competition in the country’s fitness industry means that health-conscious locals have more options than ever before. Jetts 24 Hour Fitness has a clear vision on what makes a gym sustainably successful in the long term and has set out to differentiate itself from the competition. Jetts is the only gym that truly focuses on their members and their needs by offering no-lock-in contracts, affordable membership prices, convenience, close proximity and 24-hour access.
“We are fighting to be the most loved – loved by our people and loved by our members,” Lamb said. “The Most Loved Gym Strategy is about creating happy members who stay longer and refer their friends. We conduct our own member record research studies, which provide us with insights into what retains and impacts our members specifically – from the joining process and gym orientation to the range of equipment, facilities, services, maintenance and cleanliness levels” he explained. “The findings and data obtained from the research are then used to create the Most Loved Gym Strategy, a powerful tool to help make our people happy, so they in turn make our members happy.”
With its stated purpose to inspire people to live healthier lives, Jetts focuses on improving the lives of its members and the communities within which its clubs operate. The chain pursues the goal of providing all its members with enjoyable gym experiences at its clubs every day. Jetts also seeks to promote healthy lifestyles among more and more people around Thailand. To that end, Jetts has continued to join forces with business organizations and educational institutes to devise community initiatives with the aim of promoting physical fitness as a way of life among different groups of people with various levels of gym experience and regardless of their fitness levels.
“We want to become known for being a great brand outside of the fitness industry,” Lamb stressed. “We want to be a place where people want to come and work and members want to join just so they can experience what it’s like to be a part of the Jetts family.”
