Major Cineplex Group Public Co. Ltd. has launched a new strategy which focuses on the key demand of the specific customer group, called “Movie On Demand”.

There is the first movie theater company which audiences can vote the most favorite outed movie. The popular one will be shown again. This strategy is not only increase in the number of customers, but also to support admission to the cinema.
Narut jiasanong who is marketing director, revealed that a new strategy will focus on segmentation market because we have variety of customers and Major Cineplex Group Public Co. Ltd. is first of cinema where has member card ,called “M Generation” ,and this card is register around 4,500,000
as follows :
          - M Gen Regular   2,326,647 (general customer : 24-60 years old)
          - M Gen Student   1,785,015 (student : 13-23 years old)
          - M Gen Kids          282,235 (kid: less than 13 years old)
          - M Gen Freedom    102,506 (older : more than 60 years old)
In addition Major Cineplex has a created a new alternative market for children. With the new movie theatre , called “Kodomo Kids Cinema” at Mega Bangna , on May 11th. It has good feedback from children and families.
And now we have “Movie On Demand”, which is new alternative for movie lover. This is the first in Thailand. Customers can to vote for the outed movies and will show again. When the number of voting is 100 in every films requested film will be re-play in a Branch,the date and showtime of the client's desired.There are 5 type of movies for voting include Wining-Award Movies, Recommended Movies, Hollywood Movies, Thai Movies, Asian Movies include japan, Korean, Chinese, will open on June 18th. Customers can watch the movie at Major Cineplex, including 24 branches.
