Mr. Christian Olofsson, Managing Director of Megabangna & Megacity (SF Development Co., Ltd.). announced that Megabangna shopping centre will be temporarily closed on Thursday, 26 October 2017 from 15.00 hrs. onwards and will be reopened as normal on the next day on Friday, 27 October 2017. The Royal Cremation day marks a momentous moment for all Thais towards our late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Therefore, we would like to open the opportunity for our co-workers and store staffs to take part in paying a final tribute either to attend the ceremony at Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground, or offering sandalwood flowers at designated replicas of the Royal Crematorium or watch the broadcast on television of the late King’s cremation. Our shuttle bus to/from Udomsuk shall remain in operations as usual and we will also provide free parking for public from 6am of 26th October to 3am of 27th October, in order to facilitate our customers, employees, and the general public to attend the Royal Cremation Ground.”
Megabangna has coordinated with Bangkok Mass Transit Authority to arrange a station of Free Buses to Sanam Luang at Mega Terminal (nearby Big C Extra) starting for Monday, 23 – Tuesday, 31 October 2017 from 6.00 – 24.00 hrs. in order to facilitate people, customers and co-workers who would like to travel to attend the Royal Cremation Ceremony.
