Art auction by UNHCR and Venerable Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi to raise funds for refugee shelter

BANGKOK – UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency is showcasing an art exhibition at the Life Style Hall at Bangkok’s Siam Paragon (2nd Floor), from February 15th – 19th, 2017, ahead of an ‘Art Auction for Refugees’ on Saturday, March 11th, 2017, at MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) Bids will help raise funds as part of the UNHCR’s global ‘Nobody Left Outside Campaign’, to support 2 million refugees in 12 countries. The exhibition officially opens on Wednesday, February 15th, at 4 pm with speeches and a 40-minute Dhamma talk by prominent Buddhist monk, the Venerable Phra Maha Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi who is helping organize the event and a tour of the art exhibits.
