Bangkok, Thailand (August 2nd, 2016) - ASUS Vice President Eric Chen today announced the availability of the latest ASUS ZenFone 3 Series smartphones at the Zenvolution press event in Thailand. The event also marked the worldwide debut of ZenFone 3 Max and ZenFone 3 Laser. In addition, the new ASUS ZenBook 3 laptop, as well as ASUS Transformer 3 and ASUS Transformer 3 Pro 2-in-1 PCs were also introduced. The event kicked off with an interactive holographic display, showcasing the compelling balance of beauty and power that reflects the spirit of Zen.

The 910-gram, 11.9mm thin ZenBook 3 uses aerospace aluminum for 50% increased strength, and comes with a 12.5 display, Intel® Core™ i7 Processor, 16GB RAM, 2133MHz LPDDR3 memory, a 1TB PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD, and quad Harman/Kardon tuned speakers. It has up to 9 hours of battery life and is available in three colors – Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Grey.
“ASUS Transformer 3” is a 2-in- 1 PC which is light but strong with a crafted unibody that was milled from a single block of aluminum. With a weight of only 695 grams, and at only 6.9mm thick, it is smaller than A4 paper. The 12.6-inch touchscreen laptop is compatible with ASUS Transformer Sleeve Keyboard. Transformer 3 uses a low voltage 7th Gen Intel Core processor, with other impressive specifications that include 8GB of fast1866MHz RAM and a generous 512GB SATA 3 SSD.
