CS LOXINFO reports profit from For 1Q2016 of Baht 84 million or Baht 0.14 per share

Bangkok Thailand – 9 May 2016   

The consolidated profit for 1Q2016 was Baht 84 million or Baht 0.14 per share. An increase of Baht 17 million or 25% over 4Q2015 (Baht 67 million), and roughtly equivalent to that in the same period of previous year (1Q2015 = Baht 82 million). The detail are given below:
  • ICT Business: Had a net profit from the operation for 1Q2016 Baht 66 million, an increase of Baht 13 million or 25% from 4Q2015, and Baht 8 million or 14% from 1Q2015, respectively. This was due to continuous growth of core products/services and new broadband services in some selected areas (for condominium customers only) along skytrain and subway lines that has had good user response.
  • Media and Advertising on YellowPages Business: Had a net profit from the operation for 1Q2016 Baht 1 million, while, in 4Q2015 and 1Q2015, this segment had net loss of Baht 4 million. This resulted from the business restructuring and expenses control in order to compensate for a decline in revenues.
  • Voice Info Services & Mobile Content Business: Had a net profit from the operation for 1Q2016 Baht 18 million, roughly equivalent to that in the previous quarter (4Q2015). However, by comparing with the same period of last year (1Q2015), the net profit from the operation had decreased Baht 10 million. This resulted from customers’ behavior and technology changed.

For overall strategic and directions of Y2016, the Company remains firmly to develop products/services that are tracking for customers' needs, benefits and satisfaction, which this will result in long-term benefits to shareholders. By focusing on driving sales and services in core business of ICT Business, especially in Internet Data Center (IDC), ICT solution, Cloud Computing services, Leased line services and Broadband for Condominium. In parallel with, restructuring and developing products/services of YellowPages and Voice & Mobile Content Businesses continuously, and focus on stringent cost and SG&A management for overall of consolidated profit.
