The 22-rai property offers 322 rooms in total, and is ready to welcome guests from March 2 onwards. The second property is Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach located on 24-rai of land, offering 197 rooms. The resort is located on Nai Yang beach, and the company invested over 2,300 million baht in the construction. It will officially open its doors on April 9. The third and the most awaited project – Bangkok Marriott Queen’s Park Sukhumvit, in which the company invested more than 3,500 million baht in renovation. The first phase will be ready this July, the second phase, and fully completed, this November.

“The launch of these three properties is a part of TCC Land Asset World’s roadmap to expand our hotel business through the Marriott brand. We have signed contracts for seven properties, and will spend over 23 billion baht in building and renovating these seven hotels and resorts, all of which are located in prime locations in Bangkok, Hua Hin, Phuket and Pattaya. They are medium to large hotels designed to cater to the growing demands for travel and MICE in Thailand, thanks to AEC and Thailand’s strategic location, which makes it the center of the region,” said Mrs Wallapa.

Currently, TCC Land Asset World operates 40 hotels in 7 countries, both under its own management and under partnership with global hotel management companies. This partnership with Marriott will take the number of hotels owned by TCC Hotels Group this year to 43 hotels and 10,000 rooms in total.

Marriott International’s Vice President for Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia and Japan Mr Karl Hudson talked about these three upcoming hotel and resorts that they have been designed with Marriott’s modern philosophy in mind, fusing contemporary design with lively luxury, plus Marriott hospitality which can be felt from the first step, such as in the large lobby lounge under the concept The Great Room to create a casting first impression. Facilities include dining outlets and bars, kids’ facilities for families, and venues for various types of events, both indoor and outdoor.

“Marriott is an international leading hotel brand, with hotels in 85 countries. Asia is an important part of Marriott’s global expansion, as it is a popular destination among tourists and business travelers worldwide. Thailand, in particular, has a lot of advantages in tourism.” said Mr Hudson.
