Mr. Prakid Punyashthiti, SEC Senior Assistant Secretary-General, presided over the opening ceremony of the UK Experience on Implementing the Enhanced Auditor Reporting Seminar, which was jointly organized by the SEC, the Federation of Accounting Professions under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King, and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The seminar featured an overview of the enhanced auditor reporting, which will soon take effect globally, by guest speaker Mr. Paul George, Executive Director of the UK Financial Reporting Council, for a large audience of auditors and representatives from listed companies and audit firms, at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel on January 15, 2016.
