According to research firm - Global Industry Analysts, telecommunications improvements are expected to fuel growth in the overall cable and wire markets by more than 11 percent annually through to 2018. The most significant gains will be seen in power cables – the biggest slice of the wire and cable markets – which is expected to grow nearly 9 per cent a year. The Global Industry Analyst report also indicates the global market for seamless pipes and tubes is projected to reach 70.5 million tons by 2020, driven by increasing oil and gas exploration and production activity as well as growing demand for premium pipes. Asia-Pacific represents the largest market worldwide supported by rapid increase in infrastructure development across emerging Asian countries.

Latest machinery, creative solutions, expert insights
Technological brand leader in the wire drawing die-tool and drawing die processing technology sector with over 65 years of experience, EDER ENGINEERING will be showcasing its "USP-TWIN" ultrasonic machine at the trade fair. Automated and easy to operate, the machine offers unique efficiency and work range.

Manufacturer and worldwide supplier of measuring, control, inspection and sorting technology, SIKORA will showcase its non-contact measuring systems based on progressive laser and X-ray technology at the trade fair. On display too is NIEHOFF’s MSM 85 rod breakdown machine.
